Prenatal care:

• Free consultation visit

• Prenatal visits every 4 weeks until week 28

• Prenatal visits every 2 weeks from week 28 through week 36

• Home visit at week 36

• Prenatal visits every week from week 36 until delivery 

At each visit: weight checks, vital signs monitoring, fetal heart monitoring, Uterine growth assessment, palpation for baby’s position, nutritional counseling, birth education, lab tests, support, love and FUN!!

Labor and birth care:

• Labor support

• Labor assessment

• Fetal monitoring

• Support in the birth of the baby and placenta

• Suturing/repair of perineal tears as indicated

• Newborn exam

• Insuring stable condition of mother and baby before my departure  

Postpartum care:

• Home visit the day after the birth

• 3 days postpartum

• 1 week postpartum

• 2 weeks postpartum

• 6 weeks postpartum

• Birth certificate filing

• Newborn metabolic screen  

• Breastfeeding support

• Pap smear at 6 weeks as desired  

Well woman care:

• Pap smear

• STI testing

• Vitals

• Blood work

• Breast exam

• General well exam
